Gemma was rescued from horrible living conditions in 2011. She was in very rough shape and we weren’t sure she’d make it. With the support of incredible medical professionals, and Kenway’s Cause by her side, she pulled through. She went to be fostered with one of our board members, Shannon Lewie. Her family gave her the love and care that she needed in order to flourish and heal. It wasn’t long before they realized she was a #fosterfail and would become a part of their family. Today she is happy, healthy and spoiled.
